General Memorial and Honor Giving

Each tribute gift in memory or honor of a pet or a loved one, or just to celebrate the holidays, a birthday, graduation, wedding, retirement, anniversary or milestone life event, helps Capital Humane Society achieve our mission of helping thousands of animals each year.

These gifts assist the pets and programs at CHS.

Paws of Promise Sponsorship

We’re excited to introduce our new Paws of Promise Sponsorship! This sponsorship was created as an alternative to donating adoption fees in memory or honor of a loved one or pet. 

For $125/month Capital Humane Society will place a sign on a kennel at the Pieloch Pet Adoption Center in memory or honor of your loved one with their name and/or picture! If you are purchasing this sponsorship for a friend or family member, Capital Humane Society will also send them a card notifying them of this sponsorship. The family will receive the card in two weeks or less. 

This sponsorship will begin the 1st of the month of your choosing.

Memorial Pawprint Plaque

Memorial paw prints are $500 and are hung in the interaction rooms at the Pieloch Pet Adoption Center. The payment for this plaque does not have to be completed by one person, Capital Humane Society will track all incoming memorials for your loved one and will notify you via mail when the memorial reaches $500.

Memorial Glass Piece

Memorial glass pieces are placed in the lobby or dog hallway at the Pieloch Pet Adoption Center and start at $2,500. Capital Humane Society will track all incoming memorials for your loved one and will notify you via phone call when the memorial reaches $2,500. You will then be invited in to choose where you would like your loved one’s name to be displayed and complete the paperwork with their name listed exactly how you would like it to appear.
