Kris Brambila
Kris Brambila joined Capital Humane Society as the Grants & Fundraising Coordinator in September 2024. She received an English degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2007 and has since had the opportunity to pursue her passion for writing in endless capacities and is excited to spend her time preparing grant proposals that make an impact on the lives of local shelter animals.
Kris lives in Lincoln with her husband Elisha, and together they spoil Gimli the Chow Chow, who was adopted from CHS in 2012. Not long ago, their home was filled with double the floof and triple the barking when Blizzy the Samoyed (Kris’s soulmate dog) was around to run the household.
